McLaren F1
McLaren F1
Regarded as the greatest supercar ever constructed, the McLaren F1 is a technological masterpiece, renowned for its power, speed, and unmatched quality.
In 1986, the engineering team behind the F1 took a fresh approach to sports car design by reevaluating every aspect. Drawing upon McLaren's racing expertise, the design team prioritized weight reduction, drag reduction, and increased downforce. Every detail of the F1 was carefully considered to create the most exhilarating driving experience in the world.
At the heart of the F1 is a naturally aspirated 6.1-liter, V12 BMW powerplant. This engine generated an impressive power output for its size, delivering over 620bhp. However, such power also generates a significant amount of heat. To address this, the engine bay was lined with the finest heat reflector available – pure gold.
Only 106 units exist.
