In 2017, when the Louis Vuitton x Supreme collection was launched, Louis Vuitton’s men’s artistic director Kim Jones commented: “You can’t have the conversation of New York men’s wear without Supreme right now, because it’s such a massive global phenomenon... I just feel that the strength of their graphic versus the strength of the Louis Vuitton graphic, and that kind of Pop Art feeling — it works together perfectly.” The official press release cited names including Jean Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol as inspiration behind the range.

Trunk printed with the serial number, fabricator name and monogram, and location of manufacture. Coated fabric and cowhide leather trim with man-made lining. Executed in 2017. The trunk is in unused condition, with original wrappings on handles still intact. It is lined with brown leather and contains two removable trays with white fabric linings.
